Growing Up: Why Holidays Don’t Hit the Same

Holidays hit differently as the years go by. Maybe that’s why we are all drawn to the simple magic in Hallmark Movies. Here are a few things that have changed over the years that I miss:

Celebrating Christmas: 27 years Around the Sun.

The past month has been rough. We experienced a loss. Another birthday came which was celebrated with more than a few tears. The year was finally coming to a close, and more than ever, I felt more than incredibly stuck.

Hopefully, I could tell how much things have actually changed—even if I feel like things have remained the same. So here are a few things I learned in the last year.

Don’t be afraid to look hard at the person in the mirror and face your baggage as well. It’s your turn to sit and review the year.
